Learn Coding With Minecraft

During our summer camp, students will explore Java coding through Microsoft Makecode and Minecraft. Students can run the code in Minecraft and program the agent to do everything! Some things that can be done in Minecraft include making a calculator and creating games. Students will be able to choose their final project: Minecraft building design or Minecraft built-in game.

Learning Outcomes

Throughout this program, students will-

1. Learn to code with Java

2. Accomplish 6 In-class game projects

3. Design your own Minecraft game

4. Become skilled in Minecraft architecture

Future Applications
